''Jehovah’s people receive ample spiritual instruction and encouragement at congregation meetings, assemblies, and conventions as well as through JW Broadcasting and our publications. Under the guidance of his holy spirit and on the basis of his Word of truth, Jehovah provides what is needed through the faithful and discreet slave. Care should be taken not to organize or promote meetings for spiritual feeding beyond what has been pro-vided by the organization. Such meetings could detract from what Jesus Christ is accomplishing through his congregation on earth today. Adhering to this direction will help all of God’s people to “be completely united in the same mind and in the same line of thought” and to remain “stabilized in the faith.”—1 Cor. 1:10; Col. 2:6, 7.

Brother Jackson : '' I think we should continue with our ''spiritual meeting'' that in not authorized by the organization. This ''over-lapping generation teaching'' is making us look us fools. I cannot explain this teaching to myself, nor to anyone else.''

Brother Brown : '' Brother Splane taught us that the first group of ''this generation'' would witness and understand the events of 1914, and the second group would be those who were born before the last individuals in the first group died. Fred Frantz somehow shows up in the picture. There are arrows pointing up, down and question marks. I feel that he's making it up along the way, and just stalling for time.''

Brother Jackson: '' This organization has lied to us from the get-go. With more unauthorized Bible studies, we will find some more members who will agree that we have been played.''

It's amazing what you find out when you research and take off the rose-colored glasses of the Watchtower Society teachings. If you really dig deep and really research the Bible, you will find it just made up stories to make the Jewish people stand out from people that lived in their generations.

18 How grateful we are that Jehovah does not burden us with detailed lists of regulations about our dress and grooming. Instead, he has permitted us to exercise our free will and make sensible personal decisions, which should be guided by sound Scriptural principles. Thus, even in our dress and grooming, we can show that we want to ‘walk in modesty with our God.’—Mic. 6:8.

Will your style of dress generate respect for the God you represent? (See paragraphs 7, 8)

11 When making decisions about what to wear, God’s servants take into account that “there is a time for every activity and every action.” (Eccl. 3:1, 17) It is understandable that different climates and the change of seasons influence what we wear. So do varying circumstances and living conditions. Jehovah’s standards, however, do not fluctuate with the weather.—Mal. 3:6.

This article is very ambiguous! Jehovah does not burden us with rules about dress and grooming. Witnesses have free will when it comes to dress and grooming.

The photo above shows a ''worldly'' woman who is dressed business attire and two sisters who are shown in field service dressed in skirts below the knee. Let me guess which type of dress Jehovah prefers?

Also, Jehovah has the standards ( not the Watchtower Society ) that woman should not wear slacks in field service and congregation meetings, where winters are brutal.

Jehovah’s Witnesses have always said that they are different from other religions by virtue of the fact that they don’t pass a collection plate and they don’t hound their members for money.

Oh really?

On tv.jw.org, take a look at the May 2014 JW Broadcasting program, featuring governing body member Stephen Lett.

He tells the sheep, straight out: “We need to increase our finances.”

Then, somewhere around 21:00 minutes, he gets into some classic watchower DoubleSpeak. Follow along on the video if you can tolerate listening to him talk. Here are the relevant snippets of what he says:

“We also have heard from Circuit Overseers and others that some of the brothers and sisters may have a misconception about some of the recent policy changes that have been instituted. For example, all congregations that had a Kingdom Hall or Assembly Hall loan to pay off were informed that their mortgages were cancelled. Now if you think about that it’s amazing, isn’t it? All their loans were cancelled. Can you imagine a bank telling homeowners that all their loans were cancelled and that they should merely send into the bank each month whatever they can afford? Only in Jehovah’s organization could such a thing happen!”

He uses the word “cancel” three times. The congregations loans were CANCELLED. Let’s go to the dictionary.

Ok, so we have our definition of the word “cancel.” According to the dictionary, when Stevie Lett said “all loans were cancelled,” he must have meant “all loans were closed, all debts were paid, all balances were zeroed.

But… but… in his very next sentence, he says:

Can you imagine a bank telling homeowners that all their loans were cancelled and that they should merely send into the bank each month whatever they can afford? Only in Jehovah’s organization could such a thing happen!

And later he says:

… some of us took this to mean that the Organization had a surplus of funds and thus took this action, as if the loans did not need to be reimbursed. Could this misconception have affected the amount that some have chosen to donate each month?

So… the loans were cancelled (wiped off the books, paid off.) Once they were cancelled, they are non-existent. When I pay off a car loan, the debt is cancelled. It no longer exists. It is gone. I don’t have to keep sending the bank "whatever I can afford."

But after saying they were cancelled, Stevie says that they still exist… and they need to be reimbursed.

So they weren’t cancelled at all. What happened was: the wt changed the terms of the loans. They no longer tell the congregations what their balance is, and the congregation no longer has a way to pay the loan off. They will just pay and pay and pay.

Is this sounding mafia-esque to anyone other than me?

In the year 2000, our congregation decided to split into three separate congregations because of growth. There were 186 members. The Kingdom Hall had only 190 seats. Plus, it was probably making it difficult for the Elders to keep track of all the members. Less members, easier to keep an eye on them.

One congregation decided to stay at the same Kingdom Hall, the other two decided to move to new locations.

Our congregation decided buy a small building and remodel. They took out a loan from the Society for $85,000.They enlarged and repaved the parking lot, installed new bathrooms, carpets, seats, lighting and window treatments.

Each family was asked to contribute a fixed amount every month for the loan. This was to be paid in addition to any other expenses.

Around 2005, our congregation decided to have three other congregations use the Kingdom Hall because the expenses were too difficult to meet for each month. We only had 45 members attending.

Two years ago, I was told that because there were four congregations using the same Kingdom Hall, and the meetings hours were getting too hard to manage, my old congregation decided to leave.

They found a Kingdom Hall that needed another congregation to help pay for expenses.

Here is my old congregation, 21 years later having to move twice, paying for the remodel, and paying monthly expenses. Having to start again, they will nothing to show for it. One day the Watchtower Society will decide to sell the Kingdom Hall and use it to pay all their lawsuits.

To me there is a HUGE difference between dying BECAUSE of COVID vs. dying WITH it. Sure, COVID may finish you off, but if you are lying in a hospital bed with stage 3 cancer and COVID finishes you off, how is that COVID death?

Exactly! Here it is... from the horse's mouth, on ''What is considered a COVID death''? Notice the Dr.'s answer! It does not matter what the underlying conditions were, if the COVID test came back positive, you would be considered a COVID death.

That was an excellent post! People that only listen to CNN and their local news network will not reason with your facts and logic you posted.

Others listed are heart failure and cardiac arrest. OK, again, how many have died of some form of heart disease every year, year after year of these conditions? This has always been one of the biggest killers of U.S. citizens, mainly because we are as a group obese and out of shape. But don't put that all on COVID.
Others are: renal failure, respiratory disease, diabetes and the like. Again, these are all killers by themselves.
Yet with COVID, we do it backwards. If a patient has a heart attack and dies, sure, maybe COVID finished them off. But they died because of the heart attack, with a complication of COVID. Just like we would say about AIDS. But that is NOT how it is reported and counted by the media and the medical community.

I use this analogy that frustrates people. Most of them do not even try to understand my analogy. I use this analogy to make the your point you posted above:

Let's say you and I are in a boxing match that has nine rounds. We are both physically fit for this fight . Every round of the match you are hurting me. My stamina is weakened. I continue to fight without going down on the mat. This fight is really taking a toll on my body, but I somehow make it to the 9th round.

Now, instead of you coming out for the 9th round, they send in a 12 year old kid that is just learning to box. He comes out and throws one punch and knocks me out. My question is : Did this 12 year old, who just threw only one punch, actually knock me out? They always answer, ''yes he did''! You cannot make them understand that I had so many ''underlying conditions'' from the fight, his one punch did not knock me down.

although i was only six years of age…”.

i would like to find more examples of this, particularly of examples in more recent times.

although i was only six years of age…”.

i would like to find more examples of this, particularly of examples in more recent times.

A Witness in Greece said: “I was baptized when I was 12 years old. I have never regretted my decision. Since then, 24 years have passed, 23 of which I have spent in the full-time service. My love for Jehovah always helped me to face the difficulties of youth. At the age of 12, I did not have the Scriptural knowledge that I have now. I dressed very nicely, very well groomed, and the elders had a problem with me.

It is easy to be a male Jehovah's Witness. Suit, tie, white shirt, no wild colors, hair above the ear, small mustache ( no beard, no goatee, no long sideburns ) and you had to wear a suit jacket if you were up on the podium.

Woman : They had so many rules I don't know why any female would show up at the meetings. No heavy perfume, no large earrings, no pant suits, skirts below the knee, not too much makeup, no blue jean skirts, no tight fitting dresses, no styles that highlight sexuality and ???????????
